Mobility Matters belives in providing a high level of customer service, Even when it comes to helping you return a product.

As there is no legal obligation to refund any customer that has changed there mind, We don not offer this service. Howeve we do have a returns policy. For any reason we offer a 14 days money back Service.

Provinding the following criteria is meet.

  • Whithin in 14 days
  • Still in any original packaging
  • Unused
  • a 20% restocking and repackaging and inspection charge
  • Proof of puchase

For hyginic and cross contamination reasons the following products are exempt from returns.

  • Rise and recline chairs
  • Adjustable beds
  • High back chairs
  • Mattrreses and pillows
  • Inconttinence products
  • All Bathroom and toilet aids
  • Clothing aids
  • Wheelchair cushions

If you have any problems with any products, we have the right to repair this before offering a refund. We will alway execise this right as a first reponse. One the customer has accepted the first opertunity for these path. We will continue to ensure we get it resolved.

We do not offer any of these terms on and sales goods and ex-display or sales items.

This complies with The consumer rights act of 2015. and does not affect your statuary rights.

RECLINER CHAIR

New Recliner Chairs come with a Manufactures Warranty as stated at time of sale. This includes any mechanical fault with the Chair. It does not include wear and tear.

NEW SCOOTERS AND WHEELCHAIRS

All our new Scooters come with 12months Warranty.  This Warranty will not cover products that have been misused, damaged (water damage), or vandalized.

Any attempt to make a repair carried out by a third party or an unauthorized company will result in your warranty being invalidated, and extra charges will apply.

Punctures/Chargers are not covered by Warranty and will incur charges. A call out fee may also apply.

SECONDHAND SCOOTERS AND WHEELCHAIRS

All secondhand Scooters/Wheelchairs come without Warranty unless otherwise stated.

Punctures / Chargers / Batteries are not covered by warranty and will incur charges. A call out fee may also apply.

New Batteries can be installed upon Request at cost.

REPAIRS AND FAULTS

For faults out with the Manufacturer’s Warranty, you can call the shop to speak to an engineer and arrange to bring the Scooter to us for repair.

Should an engineer need to visit your home for a Service, Repair or to Pick up the Scooter or Wheelchair there will be a call out charge of £65 this covers the call out plus the 1st Hour of Work, After the hour has passed a £45 charge will apply for any extra Hour or part Hour.

BATTERIES

All our New Batteries come with a 12-month warranty. This does not cover water damage. The results of all battery tests are final.

Please note: Batteries maintained incorrectly will not be covered. Please see battery care on reverse of this sheet.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

BATTERY CARE.

All our new batteries come with a 12-month warranty. This does not cover water damage or incorrectly maintained batteries. Please see below for information on how to look after your batteries.

WHEN CHARGING YOUR SCOOTER/POWER CHAIR, REFER TO CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.

Before you use your scooter…….

Every time you use your scooter, charge your batteries.

It may be possible to overcharge your batteries, but you can undercharge them also.

This can cause irreparable damage to your batteries and invalidate the battery warranty.

Never allow the batteries to become completely discharged.

Returns Policy Procedure

Here at Mobility Matters we believe in providing a quality service and that includes customers who would like to return a product.

You DO NOT have a legal right to a refund or replacement just because you change your mind. As a goodwill gesture, our terms are listed below.

Whilst we do everything to ensure that our customer’s needs are met when choosing a product, we also want to ensure if our customers are later unhappy with their purchase for any reason that the items can be returned to us. We are therefore happy to provide a full refund providing the item is returned to us within 14 DAYS of the purchase date, with proof of purchase, in its original packaging and in an unused “as new” condition.

Please note we have a 20% handling and restocking fee.

FOR REASONS OF HYGIENE AND CROSS CONTAMINATION, OUR RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT EXTEND TO THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS. EVEN IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SOLD OUT OF THE PACKAGING, UNLESS DAMAGED.

· Riser Recliner Chairs

· Mattresses and Pillows

· Incontinence Products

· Bathroom and Toileting Aids i.e. Urinals, Commodes, Raised Toilet Seats, Shower Stools etc.

Mobility Matters reserve the right to offer a repair or a replacement item after 30 days if the item is faulty. If for any reason, we are unable to repair or replace the item we will give a full refund only if the item has not been misused.

After 6 months and up to 5 years, if there is any fault that cannot be repaired, we will offer some kind of monetary refund: this is only subject to the Manufacturer’s/Supplier’s discretion.

Any discounted products from our ex-display range are sold as seen and non-returnable.

This complies with THE CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015.

We are not a Breakdown service if you wish for this option, please ask staff about Mark Bates Insurance.
