Cross-Brace Design
This model folds up easily in one smooth motion when you lift the seat. The backrest can also be folded, making the chair easier to load into a car. The natural flex of the cross-brace design keeps all four wheels in contact with the ground for longer periods over uneven terrain. The T3 also takes up little storage space when not in use.PreviousNext
Folding/Removable Footplates
For customers who prefer the access provided by classic folding/removable wheelchair footplates. Folding up the footplates offers great accessibility, but if you still need more space to get into and out of the chair, the footrests can also be folded aside or detached. This also makes it ideal when sitting in the wheelchair at a dining table.
Reclinable Backrest
To optimise your comfort when driving the chair, the backrest can be inclined to 3 different angle settings.
Twin Airline-ready Batteries
The latest lithium ion battery technology is used to achieve an excellent range of up to 24km with the two lightweight batteries supplied with the chair. Easily removable if off-board charging is more convenient, these batteries are able to be taken onto an aircraft.
Raisable Armrests
For side transfers into and out of your seat, we’ve incorporated a handy flip-up function on both armrests. Also very useful for clearing the joystick when drawing up to tables. The armrest height is also adjustable to your comfort.
Joystick with USB & an LED Light
FreedomChairs have a built-in USB charging port under the joystick so you can top up your smart phone on the move. Particularly handy when using battery intensive navigation apps. Additionally, for your safety, there is a bright LED light that can be turned on to light your path ahead.
Travel Bag
Durable travel bag provided, free of charge. Protects your chair and the handles allow it to be rolled along in freewheel mode.

Accessories
A fully adjustable headrest that can be easily attached / removed from the chair.
Cup Holder
A quality, adjustable cup holder. Handy for holding a cup / bottle and keeping one hand free. Fits to the armrest not used by the joystick.
Seat Widening Kits
If the chair you prefer is within your user weight limit, but it feels a little snug between the armrests, a seat widening kit can be easily fitted to give you that bit of extra space. Available in two sizes, the kits can add a total of 60mm (2.5″) or 100mm (4″) between the armrests.
